A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY CO~JNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH PORT
TOWNSEND PHYSICAL THERAPY TO PROVIDE HYDROTHERAPY SERVICES.
WHEREAS, PTPT desires to use the Port Townsend swimming pool facilities, located
at Mountain View Elementary School ("the Pool") each week, for a prescribed number of hours,
to conduct hydrotherapy activities for patients or clients in the care of PTPT; and
WIIEREAS, the Pool is owned by the Port Townsend School District but is under the
control and management authority of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to make the Pool available to the PTPT, in exchange for a
reasonable monthly fee to reimburse the City for management and lifeguard needs and services
required for the PTPT use of the Pool; and
WHEREAS, the parties are entering into a Pool Use Agreement for the mutual benefit
to both organizations,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the City Manager to
sign a Pool Use Agreement, in substantially the same form as attached, with Port Townsend
Physical Therapy.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this ~1~
