RESOLUTION NO. 21-055
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD AND SIGN ALL
CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE GAINES STREET PUMP STATION
WITHIN THE CITY BUDGET.
WHEREAS, The City of Port Townsend Gaines Pump Station is a critical infrastructure
facility for the wastewater utility; and
WHEREAS, the Gaines Street Pump Station is experiencing some serious corrosion and
repair is necessary; and
WHEREAS, Jacobs Engineering Group designed a wet well liner repair; and
WHEREAS, Interwest Construction submitted the lowest bid for the installation of the
wet well liner;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows: to authorize the City Manager to award and sign all contracts for
construction of the Gaines Street Pump Station within the City budget.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 7th day of September 2021.
