MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL BUSINESS MEETING OF MARCH 29,
2021
CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Port Townsend City Council met in special session on the 29th day of March 2021 in
Council Chambers at 540 Water Street. Mayor Sandoval called the meeting to order at
6:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Councilmembers present at roll call were David Faber, Amy Howard, Monica MickHager,
Owen Rowe, Michelle Sandoval, Ariel Speser, and Pamela Adams.
Staff members present were City Manager John Mauro, City Attorney Heidi Greenwood,
and City Clerk Joanna Sanders.
EXECUTIVE SESSION - PURSUANT TO RCW 42.30.110(1)(1)(111) LITIGATION OR THE
LEGAL RISKS OF A PROPOSED ACTION OR CURRENT PRACTICE THAT THE
AGENCY HAS IDENTIFIED WHEN PUBLIC DISCUSSION OF THE LITIGATION OR
LEGAL RISKS IS LIKELY TO RESULT IN ADVERSE LEGAL OR FINANCIAL
CONSEQUENCE TO THE AGENCY
At 6:34 p.m., Council went into Executive Session pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)(iii),
estimated at one hour with no action anticipated. At 7:26 p.m., the executive session was
extended for another 45 minutes. At 8:13 p.m., the Council came back into open session.
ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
