RESOLUTION NO. 21-050
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH SENTRY ROOFING CONTRACTING,LLC FOR PAINTING THE
SKATE PARK FENCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $36,388.12
WHEREAS, Washington Cities Insurance Authority granted the City of Port Townsend
$23,000 to repair the skate park fence; and
WHEREAS, City staff has contributed over $27,000 of in-kind labor to replace
approximately 50% of the fence with new metal; and
WHEREAS, City staff requested bids for the refurbishment of the remaining 50% and
painting of the entire skate park fence; and
WHEREAS, Sentry Roofing Contracting, LLC was the low bidder for the project with a
bid of$36,388.12;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, the City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with Sentry
Roofing Contracting, LLC for the painting of the skate park fences in the amount of$36,388.12.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 2"d day of August 2021.
