RESOLUTION NO. 21-047
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES TO
UPDATE THE WASTEWATER COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $200,000
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend last completed its Wastewater Comprehensive
Plan (also referred to as the general sewer plan) in 2000; and
WHEREAS, the City requires an update to the twenty-year-old plan in order to address
new challenges and opportunities; and
WHEREAS, the City advertised for and received statements of qualifications from
qualified firms for the project, held interviews and selected RH2 Engineering, Inc. to perform the
engineering services for this contract; and
WHEREAS, City staff negotiated a scope and fee with RH2 Engineering to complete the
General Sewer Plan project for an amount not to exceed $198,522.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, the City Manager is authorized to execute a professional engineering
services agreement to update the Wastewater Comprehensive Plan in an amount not to exceed
$200,000.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 6t" day of July 2021.
