RESOLUTION NO. 21-040
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH BERK CONSULTING, INC. FOR PUBLIC OUTREACH AND
DEVELOPMENT OF A FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY PLAN IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $34,000
WHEREAS, the 2021 City workplan prioritizes a financial sustainability plan; and
WHEREAS, BERK Consulting, Inc. has the knowledge and expertise to assist the City in
creating a financial sustainability plan through significant public outreach; and
WHEREAS, BERK Consulting, Inc. has agreed to assist the City with the financial
sustainability plan through facilitating a public task force, engagement surveys, compiling
benchmark data, and identifying the relationships between revenue sources and expenditures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, the City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with BERK
Consulting, Inc. for public outreach and the development of a financial sustainability plan in an
amount not to exceed $34,000.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 7t" day of June 2021.
