RESOLUTION NO. 21-034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A UTILITY
EASEMENT WITH GRACE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH OF PORT
TOWNSEND
WHEREAS, a City of Port Townsend water main bisected the Cherry Street housing
project property; and
WHEREAS, the City removed the water main; and
WHEREAS, City water staff wish to replace the water main to ensure redundancy in the
system; and
WHEREAS, the new water main will require an easement from the adjoining property
owner, Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Port Townsend; and
WHEREAS, Grace Lutheran Church has agreed to the easement location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, the City Manager is authorized to execute utility lease agreement with
Grace Lutheran Church of Port Townsend.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 17th day of May 2021.
