RESOLUTION NO. 21-020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AGREEMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A GOLF
COURSE WELL PUMP
WHEREAS,the City of Port Townsend is completing the golf course well installation
project as a water conservation measure; and
WHEREAS, the manufacture of an irrigation pump requires significant lead time; and
WHEREAS, due to the lead time, staff anticipates two contracts, one for the manufacture
and purchase of the pump and a second for the installation; and
WHEREAS, the City has budgeted $110,000 for the golf course well project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend that the City Manager is directed execute agreements for the purchase and installation
of the golf course well pump.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a special meeting
thereof, held this 5th day of April 2021.
