March 24, 2021 Port Townsend Development Services Attn: Mr. John McDonagh 250 Madison St, Ste 3 Port Townsend, WA 98368 RE: Admiralty Apartment Repairs HPC20-027 Dear Mr. McDonagh: It is my pleasure to provide you with the attached drawings and information to illustrate some changes since our last presentation to the City’s Historic Preservation Committee. In particular, please note that the fenestration design along the ground floor level at Taylor Street has been improved. The new larger window configurations that are now proposed will not only let more natural light into the dwelling units but should also evoke the original storefronts once located there. Please also see the attached roof plan and solar panel installation information. Solar energy is a key component of the project’s sustainable design. The panels have been located so that they will not be visible from down below on the beach, street or from adjacent buildings. I look forward to discussing the project with you again at the upcoming HPC meeting. Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide for the meeting. Sincerely, Sean Hill, AIA
