A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SET COMPENSATION
LEVELS FOR CITY EMPLOYEES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE YEAR 2000
BUDGET
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City. has entered into certain labor agreements for police officers, firefighters,
and general government employees; and
WHEREAS, said agreements make certain adjustments to the salaries listed therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to implement other adjustments for certain positions
which are not included in labor agreements;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend,
that the City Manager is hereby authorized to set compensation levels for city
employees as set forth in the "Employee-Salary" section of the city's year 2000
budget document.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor on this
18th day of January, 2000.
