RESOLUTION NO. 21-009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A THREE-
YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT WITH GABRIEL TONAN GOLF SHOP,INC.
WHEREAS, the Port Townsend golf course lease expire on December 31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted multiple public meetings to consider the future of
the golf course; and
WHEREAS, at the Council's direction, City staff requested proposals for management of
the golf course; and
WHEREAS, Gabriel Tonan Golf Shop, Inc. was the top scoring proposal that would accept
the short-term lease requested by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, that the City Manager is authorized to execute a three-year lease
agreement with Gabriel Tonan Golf Shop, Inc. for the management of the Port Townsend golf
course.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 1St day of February 2021.
