A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE LINE ITEM
FUNDING CHANGES WITHIN THE PARKS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Manager has the authority to prioritize projects and change line item
allocations within a budget fund; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the following reallocations within the
Parks Capital Improvement Fund;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Funding for the 35~ Street Park project be reduced by the amount of $20,000;
SECTION 2. Funding of $2,500 be allocated for engineering, site preparation and permits for
the Blue Heron field;
SECTION 3. Funding of $2,500 be allocated to the Non-Motorized Committee for materials
and supplies to support volunteer efforts on Earth Day; and
SECTION 4. Funding of $10,000 be allocated for engineering, site preparation and permits for
the Skateboard Park; and
SECTION 5. Funding of $5,000 be allocated for dirscretionary recreation projects.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor on this
7~ day of February, 2000.
