A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH SVR DESIGN COMPANY TO PROVIDE CONCEPTUAL
DESIGN, PERMITTING AND 30% FINAL PLANS FOR F STREET AND SAN JUAN
AVENUE PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant are desirous of entering into an Agreement to
formalize their relationship, and
WHEREAS,
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an independent
entity to accomplish the City's objectives and goals to complete the F Street and
San Juan Avenue projects; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services itself;
and
WHEREAS, the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
NOW THEREFORE
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the City Manager
to sign a Professional Services Agreement with SVR Design Company to provide Conceptual
Design, Permitting, and 30 % Final Plans for F Street and San Juan Avenue Projects within a
scope and amount consistent with the adopted capital budget.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
15th day of May, 2000.
