RESOLUTION NO. 20-038
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH STRIPE RITE INC FOR CITY-WIDE STRIPING IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $32,046
WHEREAS,the City solicited striping companies through the Small works Roster
Process; and,
WHEREAS, the City received three (3) bids from Stripe Rite Inc., from Sumner, WA
and Apply A Line from Pacific, WA, and Road Products Inc., from Spokane, WA; and,
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive responsible bidder was Stripe Rite Inc., in the amount
of$32,046.00, including sales tax; and,
WHEREAS,the striping contract amount is within the 2020 street operations budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend tha the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with Stripe Rite Inc for city-
wide striping in an amount not to exceed $32,046.00.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 6t"day of July 2020.
