RESOLUTION NO. 19-090
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH HDL SOFTWARE LLC FOR THE PURCHASE OF BUSINESS
AND LICENSING SOFTWARE
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend currently uses the "Classic" version of the HDL
Business and Licensing software; and
WHEREAS, HDL Software LLC no longer supports their classic version of the
software; and
WHEREAS, HDL Software LLC offers a more robust, or "Prime" software, and
proposes to complete the migration of the City data to the new product and offer staff training on
the use of the new product; and
WHEREAS, after review of several software packages, Staff selected the HDL Prime
product because of its cost-effective conversion, ease of use, and flexibility to add additional
modules in the future;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
The City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with HDL Software LLC for the
purchase of Business and Licensing software in the amount of$12,000.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 2nd day of December 2019.
