Public Comments: None Monica MickHager and Owen Rowe, new council members starting January 1, 2020, introduced themselves. Safety Surveys: There was group consensus for Sam Feinson to compile completed surveys and share Henrik Taatgen presented findings from traffic observations at the intersection of them at the next meeting. Sheridan and 19 th on November 19 th 7:30-8:30 am and 2:30-3:30 pm. Discussion ensued regarding what next steps should be with the safety surveys. Amy Howard suggested that ATAB ask for feedback from the Transportation Committee on where to go from here. She also suggested ATAB sending completed survey information to the Transportation Committee. Sam Feinson offered to compile the completed surveys to share with the group at the next meeting. This will be done in lieu of surveying a new site this next month. Board Membership There was group consensus to move Mike Kaill has resigned, resulting in three remaining members. meetings back to the 1 st floor conference room. A quorum is now two members. Therefore, if board members run into each other outside of the ATAB meetings, they cannot talk about board business. Laura Parsons will follow up with the City Clerk about switching locations. Amy Howard is drafting a flyer to advertise for new ATAB members. Amy Howard is advertising for new ATAB members by posting on her campaign website. WSDOT Active Transportation Plan Virtual Open House: None Laura Parsons described the WSDOT Active Transportation Plan Virtual Open House. Page 1 of 3 AGENDA ITEM ACTION Report on Transportation Committee: Sam Feinson reported on the November 19 th Transportation Committee meeting. Areas of discussion were on-street parking, off-street parking, and transportation benefit districts. Amy reminded the group that they can always come and listen. Sam Feinson to send Laura Parsons transportation benefit district information to distribute to ATAB. Report on Parks, Recreation and Tree Advisory Board meeting: None Report provided by Hendrik Taatgen and Alex Wisniewski. A Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) plan update was provided. The group discussed if there is any funding left from the Water Street Project to pay for bike racks downtown. Easy Fixes Striping/Trails: Laura Parsons will communicate with the Brenda McMillian suggested that the crosswalk at Sheridan and Hastings needs to be re-public works crew about the crosswalk at striped. Monica MickHager stated that if someone is interested in serving on a particular citizen board and there isnt availability, they may be willing to serve on ATAB instead. Amy Howard stated that the Adams Street closure will come before ATAB in the future. The work includes the construction of two bulbouts with curb ramps on the southwest and southeast corners of Adams and Washington Streets.
