Changed to ATAB/City Council Transportation Committee Item VI.D. Added. Easy Fixes Striping/Trails Approval of Minutes: Unanimously approved September 5, 2019 Minutes. Public Comments: None Joe Finn (former ATAB member) submitted to Laura Parsons a report summarizing his traffic observations at the intersection of Hastings and th Discovery Way. He completed his observations on September 6 7:30-8:30 and 2:35-3:35. He submitted this report as a private citizen, so the report was shared under public comment. Safety surveys discussion: There was group consensus to continue gathering data at various locations. The group discussed continuing to conduct safety surveys. Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan: None Alex Wisniewski gave a presentation about the PROS Plan. The PROS plan is re-adopted every six years. The presentation emphasized the importance of public input for updating the plan. Raw data about trails will be presented at a future ATAB meeting. Easy Fixes Striping/Trails: None Concern about the lack of accessible ramps in front of Memorial Field at the intersection of Washington and Madison Streets was expressed. Laura Parsons reported the PUD is planning to underground power at this location. When the trenching is done in the street, the City plans to put in curb ramps. Further City coordination with the PUD is pending.
