RESOLUTION NO. 19-074
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENTS WITH APPRASIAL GROUP OF THE NORTHWEST AND
INTEGRA REALTY RESOURCES TO PROVIDE ON-CALL APPRAISAL AND
APPRAISAL REVIEW SERVICES AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION 19-071
WHEREAS, this Resolution supersedes Resolution 19-071 for the 2019-2023 on-call
appraisal and review appraisal services; and
WHEREAS, the City must engage services of property appraisers for, street vacations,
the surplus of City owned properties, possible property acquisitions; and
WHEREAS, if the appraised property is being purchased for use in a project or may be
used for a project in the future which receives federal funds the Federal Uniform Act procedures
for property acquisition must be followed; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Uniform Act requires a review appraisal; and
WHEREAS, City staff conducted the selection process per the Federal Uniform Act
protocol; and
WHEREAS, City staff determined that Appraisal Group of the Northwest and Integra
Reality Resources were the most qualified property appraisers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council must authorize the City Manager to award and sign
professional services agreements over the amount of$10,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 19-071 misidentified the selected appraisers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend to authorize the City Manager to sign professional services agreements with Appraisal
Group of the Northwest and Integra Realty Resources in the amount of$30,000.00 each to
provide property appraisal and appraisal review services on an on-call basis. Further, Resolution
19-071 is rescinded.

ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 3rd day of September 2019.
