Public Comments: None Brenda McMillan (on the Parks and Rec Advisory Board, but speaking personally) expressed th concern about brambles blocking a pathway adjacent to 7 Street (between Sheridan and Hendricks). Alex Wisniewski commented that this location could be considered for adding to the Non-Motorized Plan update. Alex Wisniewski reported the City is hoping to adjust slopes and compact rock by the end of the month for the upper portion of the Adams Street trail between Jefferson and Washington Streets. Page 1 of 2 AGENDA ITEMACTION Reduce Traffic Downtown/Collaborate with Transit/Park and Ride: None Mike Kaill reported on the JTA Citizen Advisory Board meeting he attended. He is also trying to obtain a 2004 consultant report about alleviating traffic congestion downtown. The group suggested alleviating traffic congestion may be a topic of focus at the newly formed Council Transportation Committee which will meet September 26th. Vacant Positions: None Sam Feinson recognized this is Richard Dandridges last ATAB meeting and thanked him for his work with ATAB since 2013. Joe Finn resigned and did an exit interview with Councilmember Howard indicating he might be interested in volunteering on specific ATAB projects. Councilmember Howard mentioned that the Council is actively recruiting members for the ATAB. She has reached out to Students for Sustainability and bicycle commuters. Report on City Council Work Plan: None Laura Parsons summarized her report to City Council about the ATAB existing and proposed work plan, and an ATAB budget. Easy Fixes Striping/Trails: None Laura Parsons reported there are no plans to add a crosswalk at the Van Buren and Washington intersection. If sidewalk is built in that area, then a crosswalk may be installed as well. nd Pat Teal confirmed that vegetation had been trimmed at Eddy and 22 Streets. A discussion ensued about curb cuts in multiple locations and the staff response time to Citizen Concern Forms.
