Proposal: The city is considering amendments to the Port Townsend Municipal Code (PTMC). The amendments will modify various sections of Titles 17 (Zoning) and 19 (Environmental Protection) of the Port Townsend Municipal Code (PTMC): PTMC Section 17.16.030 related to Daylight Plane requirements. PTMC Section 17.16.020 related to Accessory Dwelling Units. PTMC Table 17.18.030 related to Minimum Ground Floor Clear Ceiling Height. PTMC Sections 17.16.010, 17.16.020 and 17.16.030 related to the Maximum Number of Dwelling Units in Any One Structure. PTMC Section 19.04.080 related to thresholds for categorical exemptions. Proponent: City of Port Townsend, Development Services Department 250 Madison Street Port Townsend, WA 98368 Determination of NonSignificance: The City of Port Townsend, as SEPA lead agency for this project, has determined that the proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment and is expecting to issue a Determination of NonSignificance(DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC). The optional DNS/MDNS process is being used and this may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. This determination was made after a review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the City of Port Townsend which can be obtained from the address shown below.
