A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
APPROVING A HORSE TAXI PERMIT AND TWO (2) HORSE TAXI DRIVER'S
LICENSES
WHEREAS, Jim and Christina Pivamik have petitioned the City in accordance
with Chapter 5.42 of the Port Townsend Municipal Code requesting approval of a horse
taxi permit and approval of a horse taxi driver's license for each of the applicants; and
WHEREAS, the application has been reviewed by Building and Community
Development (BCD) with input from the Police Department and the Public Works
Department, and BCD staff has prepared a report recommending approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend hereby
resolves to accept and adopt the findings of fact, conclusions and project conditions as
recommended by BCD staff on August 15,2001.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular
meeting thereof, held this 20th day of August, 2001.
