A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD AND SIGN A
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE SAN JUAN PATHWAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has made an effort to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety
on city streets; and
WHEREAS, the areas covered by this project is in the Safe Route to School; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined this to be a desirable project by its inclusion
on the 2001 Capital Improvement Project list; and
WHEREAS, according to the City's Purchasing Ordinance the Council must
authorize the City Manager to award any contract over $20,000; and
WHEREAS, this project has an estimated budget of $150,000,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend as follows: to authorize the City Manager to award and sign a
construction contract for the San Juan Pathway Project.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular
meeting thereof, held this first day of October, 2001.
