A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY STEPS
(EXCLUDING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS) TO ACQUIRE THE NECESSARY RIGHTS-
OF-WAY OR EASEMENTS TO ACCOMPLISH THE SAN JUAN PATHWAY PROJECT,
SUPPLEMENTING AND AMENDING RESOLUTION 01-046 ADOPTED OCTOBER 1, 2001,
WHICH RESOLUTION AUTHORIZED THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD AND SIGN A
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE SAN JUAN PATHWAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend did on October 1, 2001
adopt Resolution 01-046 which authorized the City Manager to award and sign a construction
contract for the San Juan Pathway Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire rights-of-way or easements for purposes of
accomplishing the project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend that the City Manager is authorized to take all necessary steps (excluding
condemnation proceedings) to acquire, including receipt by donation if available, the rights-of-
way or easements to accomplish the San Juan Pathway Project, consistent with the approved
project budget.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a special meeting
thereof, held this 15th day of October, 2001.
