A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWN. SEND,
WASHINGTON AMENDING THE 2001-2006 SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP) TO REFLECT ADDITIONAL FUNDING AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THIS TO THE STATE
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the 2001-2006 Six Year Plan with
Resolution No. 00-046 in June 2000; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes the State of Washington Department of
Transportation to obligate supplemental funds which were allocated to the City for the F
Street Project construction in 2001; and
WHEREAS, those additional funds must be shown on the 2001-2006 Six Year
Plan as intended use to the F Street Project in order to be obligated for construction
funding; and
WHEREAS, construction of the F Street Project is in the 2001 TIP and therefore
the 2001-2006 TIP is the only Plan that will need to be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend as follows: The City Council authorizes the Mayor to sign this
amendment resolution approving the attached Six-Year Transportation Improvement
Program for 2001-2006 for submission to the State Department of Transportation.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular
meeting thereof, held this 5th day of November, 2001.
