RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH NONPROFIT
CORPORATIONS CONSISTENT WITH FISCAL YEAR 2002
APPROVED BUDGET
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington resolves as
follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council has scheduled for adoption at its December 3, 2001
meeting the 2002 annual budget, which provides City funding for certain nonprofit
organizations, and certain other annual contracts of a reoccurring nature; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines it appropriate to authorize the City
Manager to execute agreements with nonprofit organizations, and other annual contract
providers, in amounts consistent with the 2002 approved annual budget, as set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of
Port Townsend that the City Manager is authorized to execute agreements in form
approved by the City Attorney with nonprofit organizations, and certain annual contract
providers, in the amounts approved in the adopted 2002 annual budget, as follows (or as
may be adopted in the 2002 annual budget:

Port Townsend Arts Commission
The Boiler Room
Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Program
Economic Development Council (EDC)
Port Townsend Civic Trust -Main Street
LTAC
Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce:
Visitor Information Center (VIC)
Marketing Coordinator Nancy Borino
