RESOLUTION NO. 19-068
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON CANCELING THE PLANNED PUBLIC HEARING FOR LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 19-01 FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THAYER
STREET
WHEREAS, the Port Townsend City Council approved Resolution 19-047, which
scheduled a public hearing on July 18, 2019 to consider Local Improvement District 19-01; and
WHEREAS, City staff requires additional time to prepare for the public hearing, and
adjoining property owners have expressed concern about the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend:
The proposed public hearing for the purpose of considering Local Improvement District
19-01 is canceled. If adjoining property owners express interest in the Thayer Street
improvements, the City Council may reschedule the public hearing.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 5t" day of August 2019,
