A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH VAN ALLER SURVEYING TO
PROVIDE SURVEYING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor desire to enter into an agreement to
formalize their relationship; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Contractor as an
independent entity to provide surveying services for various city projects; and
WHEREAS, such services require specialized expertise and training; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such
services itself; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has experience as a surveying firm; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has been selected from the City's Professional
Services Roster; and
WHEREAS, the City finds that Van Aller Surveying is qualified to perform the
services required,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend that the City Manager be authorized to execute a professional services
agreement with Van Aller Surveying for surveying services.

meeting thereof, held this sixth day of May, 2002.
