NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Port Townsend City Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, July 1, 2019,
at or about 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA, to
accept public testimony on Comprehensive Plan amendments related to the Rainier
Street/Upper Sims Way Subarea Plan. Pursuant to Port Townsend Municipal Code
(PTMC) 20.04.030, the City is initiating Comprehensive Plan amendments to Chapter 4
(Land Use Element) and the Land Use Map. This hearing was originally noticed and
scheduled for June 17 and is now being rescheduled for July 1, 2019.
Persons wishing to testify before the City Council may do so either by submitting verbal
testimony during the public hearing or by submitting written comments to the City Clerk,
250 Madison Street, Suite 2, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Written comments must be
received by the close of the public hearing on July 1, 2019.
