NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Port Townsend City Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, May 13,
2019, at or about 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend,
WA, to accept public testimony on Ordinance 3225 Adopting Interim Development
Regulations related to the Rainier Street/Upper Sims Way Subarea Plan. The area
affected by the interim regulations is identified as the Makers/Artisan area bounded on
the east by Rainier St, on the south by Sims Way, on the west by Discovery Rd and on
the north by 10th Street. The interim regulations include proposed changes to the
zoning map.
Persons wishing to testify before the City Council may do so either by submitting verbal
testimony during the public hearing or by submitting written comments to the City Clerk,
250 Madison Street, Suite 2, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Written comments must be
received by the close of the public hearing on May 13, 2019. Ordinance 3225 is
available for inspection in the City Clerkâs office on the second floor of City Hall.
