RESOLUTION NO. 19-034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING ON A PETITION FOR A
STREET VACATION
BE IT ;RESOLVED, THAT:
The Port Townsend City Council shall conduct a public hearing on Street Vacation
Application No. LUP19-039. The proposal, if approved, would vacate the southern 10' feet of an
unopened section of 30th Street right-of-way lying immediately north of Lots 4 and 5 in Block 20
of Hasting's 3rd Addition to the City of Port Townsend. The subject right-of-way lies
immediately east of Gise Street and 120' east of Holcomb Street. In exchange for the requested
vacation, a new 10' wide right-of-way dedication would be made along the southern property line
of Lots 4 & 5, Block 20 immediately adjacent to an existing 16' wide alley.
The hearing will be conducted at or about 6:30 PM on Monday, May 6, 2019, in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, Washington or such other
date as the Mayor determines if necessary to accommodate other Council business or requests by
staff or applicant, so long as the hearing is not less than 20 nor more than 60 days from adoption
of the Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular business
meeting thereof, held this I" day of April 2019.
