RESOLUTION NO. 19-030
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO BID AND SIGN ALL
CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE COMPLETE STREET PROJECTS
WITHIN THE APPROVED BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a Transportation Improvement Board (TIB)
Complete Street Grant in a total amount of$250,000; and
WHEREAS, the following project locations are included within the grant scope:
downtown curb ramps at Adams Street and Washington Street; Uptown Curb Ramps at Harrison
Street and Washington Street; and a sidewalk on 9th Street between Grant Street and Hancock
Street; and
WHEREAS, the City will design the Complete Street projects in-house with construction
complete in 2019; and
WHEREAS,the City Council must authorize the City Manager to bid and sign all
construction contracts within the approved budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows: to authorize the City Manager to bid and sign all construction contracts
within the approved budget.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 18th day of March 2019.
