A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH COMMUNITY BUILDING MAINTENANCE (CBM) TO PROVIDE
CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR CERTAIN CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City has facilities, such as the Public Restrooms which require
custodial services seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficient staff to cover custodial services
seven days a week, holidays, vacation or other paid leave; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to contract these services; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has performed these duties successfully; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to renew the contract with CBM for the
remainder of 2002
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend that the City Manager is authorized to sign a Service Contract with
C.B.M., Inc.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular
meeting thereof, held this third day of September, 2002. ~/~~~/~
