Port Townsend water system testing
Port Townsend, WA The City of Port Townsend Water Department will be conducting water
system test starting March 18, 2019.
Starting March 18, 2019 the City will be temporarily increasing the chlorine disinfection level in the
water to test the effectiveness of reservoir repairs. Customers may notice an increased chlorine
taste and/or scent in the City’s drinking water for the next couple of weeks. The elevated chlorine
residual will be well within the normal range for water treatment disinfection. If you have any
