RESOLUTION NO. 19-004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, RELATED TO PERSONNEL, ADOPTING UPDATED
ACCIDENT PREVENTION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City's Accident Prevention Program was last updated in 1992; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends updates in order to comply with changes to employment
law and regulations, and changes to City policy and procedures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
The City of Port Townsend Accident Prevention Program is hereby amended as outlined
in the attached Exhibit"A."
All previously-adopted Accident Prevention Programs are superseded.
The City Manager is authorized to take administrative actions consistent with this
Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 7th day of January, 2019.
