A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A LOAN
AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
TRADE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR THE COMPLETION OF A
TRANSPORTATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the Transportation Plan has been identified by the City Council and
City staff as necessary and desirable; and
WHEREAS, the Citizen's Transportation Advisory Board is in the process of
developing a scope of work for a Transportation Plan; and
WHEREAS, this loan provides a zero percent interest rate funding mechanism
for $100,000.00 of the Transportation Plan's costs,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend that the City Manger is hereby authorized to sign a Public Works Trust
Fund loan agreement, in the amount of $100,000.00 with the Washington State
Department of Community Trade and Economic Development, for the completion of a
Transportation Plan.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular
meeting thereof, held this 17th day of February, 2004.
