NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Port Townsend Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday,
October 25, 2018 at or about 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 540 Water Street, Port
Townsend, WA, to accept public testimony on proposed changes to various sections of
the Titles 17 (Zoning) and 19 (Environmental Protection) of the Port Townsend
Municipal Code (PTMC). Specifically, the proposed changes affect:
PTMC Section 17.16.030 related to Daylight Plane requirements
PTMC Section 17.16.020 related to Accessory Dwelling Units
PTMC Table 17.18.030 related to Minimum Ground Floor Clear Ceiling Height
PTMC Sections 17.16.010, 17.16.020 and 17.16.030 related to the Maximum Number
of Dwelling Units in Any One Structure
PTMC Section 19.04.080 related to thresholds for categorical exemptions.
Persons wishing to testify before the City Council may do so either by submitting verbal
testimony during the public hearing or by submitting written comments to the City Clerk,
250 Madison Street, Suite 2, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Written comments must be
received by the close of the public hearing on October 25, 2018.
