RESOLUTION NO. 18-039
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A PUBLIC
WORKS CONTRACT WITH LAKESIDE INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR THE 2018 MILL
AND FILL PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend as follows:
WHEREAS, each year the City endeavors to maintain City streets; and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited from the Small Works Roster to perform said work; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible, responsive bid of $92,295.75 was submitted by
Lakeside Industries, Inc. through the Small Works process; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that Lakeside has adequate capacity to perform said
work,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend to authorize the City Manager to award the bid and sign the contract for the 2018 Mill and
Fill project to Lakeside Industries, Inc.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 16th day of July 2018.
