AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
RENAMING KARNO STREET TO KAT LANE
WHEREAS, Karno Street was created in connection with a Lot Line
Adjustment on July 17, 1998 (BLA 97-00012) and shown on the Record of Survey
filed with the Jefferson County Auditor under File No. 412766; and
WHEREAS, Richard Scott Dobson, current owner of all the lots fronting on
Karno Street, has requested to change the name from Karno Street to Kat Lane;
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that a change of name as requested is
appropriate,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend ordains:
SECTION 1. Street Name Changes. The name of Kamo Street, as shown on
Record of Survey filed with the Jefferson County Auditor under File No. 412766, is
hereby changed from Karno Street to Kat Lane;
SECTION 2. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or its application
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance, or the
application of the provision to other persons or circumstances is not affected.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days after the date of its
publication in the manner provided by law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, at a
regular meeting thereof, held this 20th day of October, 2003.
