WHEREAS, confusion has been found within the terms of Ordinance No. 1625 concerning the defin~tion of "R-II" Zoning, and WHEREAS, public hearings have been held concerning the amendment of said Ordinance No. 1625 concerning such defination, and the City Council has duly considered the matter in the form and manner required by law, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 1625, passed and approved on August 3, 1971, is here and hereby amended, in each and every part and p~tion thereof wherein such amendment shall be pertinent, to the extent that R-II Zoning shall be defined as follows: R-II Single-family residential: Primarily a single family residence district, and low density multiple residence district, requiring five thousand square feet of build- ing tract for each single family dwelling unit, but permitting four or less single family dwelling units to be contained within one structure upon condition of sufficient tract size~~m~-~~T~;~: /~6 Sectic~n 2. 9~ny part or provision of sa~d ffrdina~ce'N6. 1625 in conflict with the definition of R-II Zoming herein contained is deemed to be amended to conform to the definition set forth herein. Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
