AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC
WORKS EMPIOfMENT ACT FUND, PROVIDING
AN ALTERNATE TITLE THEREFOR, AND
AUTHORIZING DPOSITS THEREIN AND
DISBURSEMENTS THEREFROM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is here and hereby established a fund to be
known as the "Public Works Employment Act Fund," which may be
referred to, in the alternative~ as the "PWEA" fund, for the purpose
of receiving the deposit of funds allocated and delivered to the
City of Port Townsend pursuant to Federal Public Law 94-369, known
as the "Public Works Employment Act of 1976."
Section 2. The City Clerk-Treasurer is here and hereby
authorized and directed to honor ~ou~hers properly drawn upon the
PWEA Fund, for the purposes provided and allowed by said Public Law
94-369, and to issue warrants pursuant thereto.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the mayor on December 7, 1976.
