THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C ITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1731 is here and hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1. A "bicycle" is defined as any two- wheeled vehicle, or any unicycle or tricycle, propelled by pedals, having a wheel diameter of more ~han 16 inches, and not required to be licensed as a motor vehicle under the laws of the State of Washington." Section 2. S~b~i~h~.~fo~fOW~iia~ce No. 1731 is here and hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 3. The Chief of Police is authorized and directed to issue, upon written application, bicycle licenses which shall be effective when issued and remain good until further amendment or repeal of this ordinance. The fee for such license shall be the sum of One Dollar, which shall be paid at the time of the issuance of the license." Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
