AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$25,000 TO THE PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYMENT
ACT FUND, AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES
THEREFROM, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR i\SBSSION
ASSEMBLED,~DD ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

1977 budget 6f the Public Works Employment Act Fund the sum of
$25,000, to be disbursed as ~ollows:
(a)
For additional hired persons to maintain tap
installation schedules for the Water-Sewer Department,
the sum of $8,333.33.
(b)
(c)
For the hiring of additional persons to assist with
filing in the Clerk-Treasurer Office, the sum of
$8,333.33.
For hiring additional personnel to work on building
permit matters in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer,
the sum of $8,333.33.
Section 2, There is hereby found and declared to be an
emergency requiring the foregoing appropriation.
Read for the first time October 4, 1977. Read for the
second and third times, passed by the Council and approved by
the' Mayor October 18, 1977~
