AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 102 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 1759.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 102 of Ordinance No. 1759 is here and
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 102.
(A) For those proposals for which the City is the
lead agency, the responsible official shall be ~h~ ~

(B) The responsible official shall make the threshold
determination, supervise preparation of any environmental impact
statement, and perform any other functions assigned to the lead
agency or responsible official by those sections of the State
Env~zq%mental Protection Act guidelines which were adopted by
reference in WAC 173-805-020 hereof, for all proposals for
which the city is the lead agency."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on December 20, 1977.
