RESOLUTION NO. 18-017
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT
AGREEMENT WITH OLYCAP FOR HOMELESS SHELTER OPERATIONS
WHEREAS, at its March 19, 2018 meeting Council authorized a grant to OlyCAP in the
amount of $40,000 for homeless shelter operations from Council Reserves (Fund 010-093) and
directed the City Manager to bring back a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter a
grant agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a grant agreement with OlyCAP in the
amount of $40,000 to be used for homeless shelter operations, which amount is prorated
for 60 days.
2. The grant agreement shall be funded from Council Reserves (Fund 010-093.)
3. The City Manager and Mayor are asked to meet with County, COAST, and OlyCAP
representatives within this 60 -day period.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 2nd day of April, 2018.
