RESOLUTION NO. 18-010
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FCS GROUP FOR A
STORMWATER RATE STUDY
WHEREAS, the City is in the process of adopting a Stormwater Management Plan; and,
WHEREAS, as part of the Plan, the City has identified additional capital and major repair
and maintenance requirements for Stormwater system infrastructure; and,
WHEREAS, the City requires an analysis of the revenue requirement to fund current and
long term Stormwater costs; and,
WHEREAS, staff recommends entering into an agreement with FCS Groups to perform
this analysis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend that the City Manager is authorized to negotiate and execute a contract with FCS
Group for preparation of a Stormwater Rate Study in an amount not to exceed $25,000 plus
applicable sales tax.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 5th day of March, 2018
