NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF FINAL ACTION ON
ACQUISITION BY EMINENT DOMAIN OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
This is notice of a “final action” as required by RCW 8.25.290. At its regular business
meeting scheduled for Monday, March 19, 2018 at or about 6:30 p.m. in Council
Chambers, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA, the Port Townsend City Council will
consider Ordinance 3195 related to the acquisition by eminent domain of a certain
portion of property outside the City of Port Townsend necessary for construction and
maintenance of the City’s regional stormwater facility. The property that may be subject
to acquisition by eminent domain is Jefferson County Parcel Number 001162017
At this meeting, the City Council may take action to authorize acquisition of the property
by eminent domain.
Persons wishing to provide comment to the City Council may do so either by submitting
verbal comments during the public meeting, or by submitting written comments to the
City Clerk, 250 Madison Street, Suite 2, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Ordinance 3195 is
available for inspection in the City Clerk’s office on the second floor of City Hall.
