RESOLUTION NO. 17-061
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON, RELATED
TO SEWER FACILITIES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A
PARTIAL RELEASE RELATED TO A SEWER EASEMENT IN THE PORT
TOWNSEND BUSINESS PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend was granted a sewer easement across a portion
of the Port Townsend Business Park, as recorded under Auditor's File No. 326184 recorded
November 17, 1989 (hereinafter the "Sewer Easement"); and,
WHEREAS, that portion of the Sewer Easement improvements originally located on
Lots 69 and 70 of the Port Townsend Business Park have been replaced by new improvements
constructed by the Business Park developers in N. Park Avenue and E. Park Avenue and Public
Works staff have determined that the easement is no longer necessary for sewer purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City and the Business Park developers wish to document the partial
release of the Sewer Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
The City Manager is authorized to sign a partial release for the portion of the Sewer
Easement located solely on Lots 69 and 70 of the Port Townsend Business Park.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular
meeting thereof, held this 4th day of December 2017.
