A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN PETTY CASH FUNDS ESTABLISHED
FOR TRANSACTING CITY BUSINESS
RECITALS:
1. In accordance with Washington State Auditor accounting interpretations as specified
in the Budgeting, Accounting, Reporting System Manual, VOL 1, PT3, CH 3, PAGE
8, the City may establish and operate petty cash funds to transact city business in
accordance with those interpretations.
2. A11 petty cash funds authorized below shall be maintained and accounted in the
manner prescribe by the State Auditor.
3. The Finance Director shall designate the responsible petty cash custodian for each
petty cash fund established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend the following petty cash funds aze authorized:
Library $100.00
Finance $500.00
City Manager's Offfice $ 55.00
Department of
Development Services $ 50.00
City Attorney's Office $500.00
City Pool $100.00
Compost Facility $100.00
Police $2,000.00
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting thereof,
held this sixth day of April, 2009.
