AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TH£ SU~ OF $24,700 TO
THE CURRENT EXPE~SE FU~JO, $21,800 TO THE STREET
FUND, AND 355,000 TO THE ARTERIAL STREET FUND,
ANO DECLARING AN E!~GENCY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POR¥ TO~NSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION AS~E~lgL£D,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
~ection 1. The ~ollo~ing appropriations are here and heraby ~ads a
supplemental to th~ 1~78 budget of the City of Port Townsend:
Current Expense - ~20,000 for garbage services, $~,000 for utility taxes,
$1,700 for election fees totaling $24,700.
Street Fund - $8,000 fo~ labor from other departments, ~1~,800 for street
lighting totaling ~21,800.
Ate~ial Straet Fund - ~55,000 for street surface construction.
Section 2. There is h~re and hereby found and decl~ad to be an~emerg~ncy
~equi~ing the foregoing appropriations to the said 1~78 budget of the City of
Port ~o~nsendo
Section ~o This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval,
and publication in th~ fo~m and manner p~ovided by la~.
Read for the ~i~st time on December 5, 1~78. Read for the second~and
third times, passed by the Council and ~pprov~d by the ~:layo~ on December l~, 1~78.
