AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADOPTING THE 1979 BUDGETS
FOR THE GENERAL CITY GOVERNMENT, THE WATER-SErVER
UTILITIES, 80ND REDE~lPTION FUNDS, AND FOR FEDERAL
SHARED REVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TO?~NSE~!D, ItJ RECULtR SESSION ASSEMBLED,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLODS:
Section 1. Appropriation for the 1979 budget is hereby made for the General
City Government for the purpose and in the amounts following: for Cwrrent Expense
~733,354, for Streets $?18,039, for Library ~75,242, for Parks 538,390, far Arterial
Streets ~82,000, for Equipment Rental ~2a6,000, for Firemen's Pension and Relief
~118,000.
Section 2. Appropriation is hereby made for the ~979 budoet for the ~ater-
Semer Utilities in the sum of ~924,100.
Section 3. Appropriation for tho 1979 budget is hereby made for the bond
redemption funds as follows: for 1959 IUater Revenue Bond Redemption '~24,766, for
1956 Special ~ater Revenue Bond Redemption ~133,166, 1978 ~ater Se~,~r Revenue Bond
Redemption ~46,875, for 1967 ~Vater Sewer Revenue 8end Redemption ~1~5,622, for 1978
~ater Sewer Revenue Bond Redemption-Series "B" ~94,113.
~ Section 4. Appropriation is hereby made for the 1979 budget for Federal Shared
Revenue in the sum of ~95,000.
Section 5. Due hearing having been held, the preceeding four sections hereof
are hereby fixed and adopted as the budget for the year 1979 for the City of Port
Townsend and its various utilities, departments, and funds.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the Council amd approved
by the ~ayor on December 5, 1978.
